Catherine holds BSocSci and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town. Prior to being admitted to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates, Catherine clerked for Justice Theron at the Constitutional Court and worked as a legal researcher for former Deputy Chief Justice Moseneke. Her preferred areas of practice include constitutional, administrative and general commercial law. She has appeared in the High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court.
