Porchia was admitted as an attorney in 2010 and became a member of the Cape Bar in 2014. She joined the Johannesburg Bar in 2021 and currently holds chambers in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. Her areas of practice include company law matters, contractual disputes, financial services and markets regulation, banking law, insurance law, property law and administrative and constitutional law. In addition to the High Court and Labour Court, she has appeared in the Supreme Court of Appeal, the Constitutional Court and various regulatory tribunals.
