Mfesane is an LL.B and Advanced Company Law I and II graduate (all cum laude – University of the Witwatersrand). He is a former associate in the Corporate Commercial Department (Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Inc).
He is also a former lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand, lecturing Administrative Law, Business Enterprise Law and Criminal Law.
He has appeared in all superior courts of South Africa, including arguing at the Constitutional Court on multiple occasions.
He is also a red bag recipient.
