Jason Brickhill graduated with an LLB (magna cum laude) and holds a Master of Studies degree (with distinction). He was admitted to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in 2010. His preferred areas of practice include constitutional, administrative and labour law. He has appeared in the High Court, Labour Court, Land Claims Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court.
In addition to his practice, Jason has authored a number of textbooks and journal articles on constitutional law; notably, Constitutional Litigation (2013, Juta) and Erasmus: Superior Court Practice (sections dealing with constitutional law). He also works with the Legal Resources Centre and acts as an external examiner for the University of the Witwatersrand in constitutional law.
